With hundreds of millions of photos and videos being shared every day it’s easy to miss out on the ones that actually matter to you. Pixable finds the best photos and videos shared on your social network so you never miss an important moment.

Pixable — founded in 2009 by Inaki Berenguer, Andres Blank and Alberto Sheinfeld– is a start-up headquartered in SoHo, NYC with MIT roots. The company has enabled more than 10 million users to enjoy their online photos. It currently employees more than 50 people.

In September, 2012, Pixable was acquired by SingTel as a part of their Digital L!fe Group, which focuses on fostering new digital growth engines to bring the latest digital technologies to their customers and compete in new markets and adjacent industries.

The company’s product offers a unique, personalized browsing experience by aggregating photos from different social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, …) and then sorting them into fun feeds, like Top Photos of the Day, in order of their relevance to the user. Along with users’ personalized feeds, Pixable offers public photo feeds based on user interests, like Sports, Funny, Style & Fashion etc.

Pixable has been featured in The New York Times, BBC, ABC, NBC, Newsweek, CNN, USA Today, Mashable, Tech Crunch and The Atlantic Magazine. It was also highlighted as one of the coolest companies to work for by Time Out Magazine.
