Operator-in-Residence, Metamorphic Ventures
Scott Hartley is an Operator-in-Residence at Metamorphic Ventures in New York City. He is an advisor to Spire, Kimono Labs, and Klink, and a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. He has served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow at the White House, and a Partner atMohr Davidow Ventures (MDV), a $2 billion Silicon Valley venture capital firm, where he invested in technology companies. Prior to venture capital, Scott worked at Google, Facebook, and Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society. He is author of “The Venture Frontier,” aForbes column on global technology trends, contributing author in the MIT Press book “Shopping for Good,” and a contributor on Bloomberg TV’s “Money Moves.” Scott is a frequent venture capital speaker for Google, MIT, and the US State Department around the world. He holds an MBA and an MA from Columbia, a BA from Stanford, and has finished six marathon and Ironman 70.3 triathlons, and has visited more than 70 countries.
